Welcome to my site!

I’ve hosted so many different sites for other people over the last few years and never really thought I might want or need one for myself. I think I was inspired by the Hugo project and seeing a large amount of people talk about markdown. Having faffed about with Wordpress, databases, reverse proxies e.t.c for years, this seemed like a great project to remove some of the fuss related to it.

I’m not sure if this site will ever be of much use to anyone, but I think I’m going to like having a place to dump rants, writings and other mental detritus. Given the self-hosted nature of this site, I won’t feel too guilty as the only web space it’s taking up is on my own server!
